  1. Rough Draft

2 of 14 pages I wrote about our topic for today’s Impolite Company recording.

Wish Lindsay good luck today. She’s going to have to change her bio to “Cheesemonger and Nerd Wrangler.”

I was going to say something about “Tj tongue wrestler” as in keeping me from talking too much but then I realized that might not be great imagery. And Gross.

Also if you missed our first two episodes you can get them at http://muleradio.net/impolite or grab the free Mule Radio app for iOS.

Every episode comes with a Double your money back guarantee!

(Please don’t let the fact that they’re free detract from the perceived value of that offer.)

  2. ☛ Churchgoers more likely to support torture

    mrgan:

    Pew Research Center:

The more often Americans go to church, the more likely they are to support the torture of suspected terrorists, according to a new survey.

I’ll take it to mean no more than that various old-time values go together. So much for old-time values.

Because, really, when you believe that self-righteous religious leaders who felt threatened manipulated political leaders into holding a mock trial, beat your Lord and Savior mercilessly, and then executed, why would you be against torture and the death penalty?

    sigh

Another quote comes to mind: “Father, forgive them, because they are nitwits.”

Wait, I think I got that last part wrong. But you get the idea.

    sigh redux

Unrelated: This study was from the “Pew Research Center”, not to be confused with the “Pew Pew Research Center” which has been organized to study @sween in his natural habitat.

  3. Stephen Colbert interviews Lynn Westmoreland who wants the 10 Commandments posted….

Perhaps because he doesn’t know them himself?
